Robert has over 25 years of experience in construction, engineering, and project management. Utilizing dual undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering and economics, his diverse background includes construction, design, oversight, contract administration, due diligence, and building envelope commissioning. He also has experience with expert witness/construction defect work in mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems; building envelopes; and energy efficiency. Robert is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Oregon and based in the Portland area of the Pacific Northwest.
Radu is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York and has over 35 years of professional experience in construction and mechanical/electrical engineering design and due diligence services. He has gained broad and solid experience by completing and managing numerous projects in the United States and abroad. Radu has a keen ability to understand all environmental and engineering aspects involved in real estate due diligence studies. He has been involved in both design projects and construction management of several wings of the Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, the world’s largest civilian building with an administrative function and the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. Over the past 25 years, Radu has been involved in all aspects of the due diligence process and has completed over 1,500 Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), as well as preparation of curative budgets to remedy physical deficiencies on all types of real estate property, including office buildings, multifamily properties, hotels and motels, warehouse and industrial buildings, parking garages, retail strip centers and stand-alone stores, enclosed shopping malls, nursing homes, mobile home parks, and self-storage facilities. In addition, he has provided construction monitoring services for a variety of projects in the U.S and abroad. Radu has managed teams of specialty consultants for complex assignments, including numerous high-rise office towers of over one million SF large retail centers, and complex hotel and resort facilities throughout the U.S.
Kevin has joined the Capital Markets Group (CMG) as a Senior Project Manager working from a remote office in a small town in a rural county on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He is a BPI-certified Multifamily Building Analyst with a total of nearly 25 years of property development, redevelopment, and due diligence experience covering the private and public sectors, based in residential (multifamily, single-family, and public housing), commercial, industrial, hospitality, municipal, educational, and military facilities. He has performed, managed, and reviewed numerous property condition assessments (PCAs), property needs assessments (PNAs), energy audits, capital asset plans, and facility maintenance plans. In addition, he has carried out and managed numerous property asset inventories and physical condition surveys on Sovereign Nation Reservations. Kevin also has extensive experience in commercial construction management, pre-construction document reviews, and construction loan monitoring. Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in building surveying and facility management from the University of the West of England in the U.K. He is also an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church and currently serves as a pastor in a small rural congregation and is a chaplain to local fire, EMS, rescue, and law enforcement. He is currently completing a master’s degree in pastoral counseling at Regent University.

Kayla has joined the Environmental Compliance Group as an Environmental Compliance Professional, working out of the Chaska, Minnesota, office. She has over two years of experience in corporate environmental compliance across the United States. Kayla graduated from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and obtained a Bachelor of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering, with an emphasis in environmental and ecological engineering.
