James has joined the Environmental Assessment and Remediation (EAR) Group and will be conducting Construction Loan Monitoring (CLM) projects. He has more than 17 years of experience in the construction, utility, and real estate industries, including in power transmission, telecommunications (cellular and landline), and wind farm development. The properties he has evaluated include multifamily residential, office, industrial, and retail. James is a Project Manager based out of our headquarters in Chaska, Minnesota.
Amy is a licensed Architect and holds a master’s degrees in both architecture and architectural engineering. She has over ten years of experience in the architecture and consulting industries. Her consulting experience has been focused on construction loan monitoring and pre-construction risk assessment for construction lenders, equity investors, and syndicators on various projects across the country, including multifamily, student housing, retail, hospitality, low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) projects, historic tax credit projects, and more. Amy is a Senior Project Manager for our Construction Services Group (CSG), working out of Chicago, Illinois.
Michael is a Property Condition Assessment Project Manager out of Raleigh, North Carolina. He has four years of experience in the property condition assessment industry, having completed over 300 PCAs of various project types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, assisted living, skilled nursing, medical, mobile home community, self-storage, and agency. Michael also has over 17 years of experience as a licensed Architect in the state of North Carolina and 12 years as an intern architect and construction administrator. He attended the University of Michigan and obtained a Master of Architecture.
Rick is a Senior Project Manager for the Industrial Hygiene (IH) Group, working out of Lenexa, Kansas. He has spent his 25+ years of experience in the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) industry serving clients by managing a wide variety of EHS projects at industrial, commercial, state, and federal facilities throughout the United States. Rick is responsible for business development, contract and project management, industrial hygiene- and safety-related services, project oversight, training of staff and clients, regulatory review, and reporting.
Lindy is a Senior Project Manager for the Southern Region working out of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area. She has over 11 years of experience in the due diligence and environmental industries and is experienced in managing multiple-site portfolio projects that require quick-response and verbal updates, technical support for environmental issues, and discussion of environmental site assessments (ESAs). Her responsibilities include project management for commercial, industrial, and multifamily facilities, on tasks involving Phase I ESAs. Lindy went to Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Physical Geography.
Mike has joined the Environmental Assessment and Remediation (EAR) Group as the National Practice Leader – Brownfield Investigation/Remediation, based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has over 18 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, working with the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites and commercial property due diligence. Mike went to the University of Georgia and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources, concentrating in soils, hydrology, and environmental systems.
Chris has joined the Capital Markets Group (CMG) as a dual scope Senior Project Manager working out of Atlanta, Georgia. He has over 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, conducting and reviewing ESAs and PCAs in over 40 states, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as performing construction loan monitoring. He has a detailed understanding of the risks associated with hazardous and regulated materials storage, use generation and disposal, above-ground storage tanks (ASTs), underground storage tanks (USTs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), asbestos‐containing materials (ACMs), lead‐based paint (LBP), lead in drinking water, mold, and radon, and he has conducted sampling for each of these risks. His PCA background includes assessing site improvements, building structures and envelopes, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for evidence of deferred maintenance or problematic or deleterious materials. Chris went to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and obtained a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
Michael has joined the Capital Markets Group (CMG) as an Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Senior Project Manager working out of Wakefield, Massachusetts. He is a licensed Professional Geologist in the state of New Hampshire and has over 15 years of experience in the geotechnical, due diligence, and environmental industries. He has conducted Phase I ESAs, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, and Phase III Remedial System Design and Implementation for a wide range of local and national clients, including conduit/commercial mortgage‐backed securities (CMBS) lenders, agency lenders (including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), local banks and investment banks, insurance companies, law firms, and private‐equity property owners. Michael went to the University of Delaware and obtained a B.S. in Geology.
Hope is an Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Project Manager out of Hagerstown, Maryland. She has more than 11 years of consulting experience in the environmental industry throughout the United States. She has conducted ESAs, NEPA compliance reports, USFWS reports, and SHPO packages for a wide range of local and national clients. The properties she has evaluated have included multifamily residential, retail, office, industrial, and hospitality. Hope went to American Public University and obtained a B.S. in Environmental Studies and an M.S. in Environmental Policy.
Andrea has joined the Capital Markets Group (CMG) as an Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Senior Project Manager working out of Westport, Massachusetts. She has over 15 years of experience in the due diligence field and environmental industries. Her responsibilities include project management for commercial, industrial, and multifamily facilities, on tasks involving Phase I ESAs. Andrea went to Rhode Island College and obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology.
